I got what you need…

 I am finally back again..I know I said it last time, but seriously this time I’m back and will have tons of post! Lifes been hectic and there has been tons of things for me to do and ALOT of running around! Updates from all around that I have seen and done over the past few days…

I’m back addicted to The Island on MTV on Wednesday nights! Haven’t missed an episode and I’m really excited to see if Eve can win this weeks challenge and get Johnny’s key back!

Missed VH1’s Pick-Up Artist 2 this week, I really hate that because its very interesting that this kind of crap works to some extent, but to see grown men struggle to pick up women is great! I so should be on that show, because I have no clue what the heck I am doing anyways, I guess that’s why I choose to stay dateless and save my self from embarrassment and rejection!

I recently got probably my least favorite album in a long time…Lucky Old Sun by Kenny Chesney! If you want my opinion, don’t bother with it! Just wait for the 2 hits to be on the radio because I was extremly disappointed in it! But you still got to love Kenny, and I will still be attending his concert next year!

Attended Scarowinds this past Saturday and I will let everyone know that you HAVE TO GO!!! Only open 3 more days, andit’s totally worth it! Yes, a little pricey at $42 a head, but 5 hours open and 12 haunted houses and trails, plus all the rides are open..it’s well worth it. Now we did go this past Saturday, and it was extremely busy around 8ish so get there a little early gates open at 7 and we honestly waited in line for an average of 15 minutes on all the houses and trails! Now if you are going for the rides, plan to wait a lot longer because they can only accommodate between 12-20 each time depending on the ride and how many different coasters are running. But again, I will repeat, the trails and houses are great and   well worth it!

Fantasy football has finally dulled down for me and I absolutely hate it again this year!!! After a very disappointing 43 total points for a 11 man slot I have decided to just pray for miracles and prepare for NBA Fantasy!! S. Jackson didn’t play, Addai is still hurt, Roethlisberger threw 4 picks, Holmes prefers marijuana over playing time…Its a very disappointing season for me and my staff! Only way from here is up and there’s not much worse i can do than this so maybe I can still be in the top 6 for playoffs!

Back to Fantasy Basketball, I happen to of missed the draft last night due to my jerk commissioner who said he’d move the time back an hour so I could attend, but heck no!!! I show up at the house at 10 and my team is already picked for me! I did get the number one pick and the computer did give me Kobe, but maybe I would of took King James?!? I guess we wil have to see. But I did get Bynum in the 3rd and Oden in the 5th round so I was excited and hope my big men can lead me to the promise land of champions just like they did last year!

I also attended the Carolina Panther game on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium and had a great time. I took my father for his birthday, and he loves going there every year, so I guess I’ll have to make it a ritual now! Steve Smith and the rest of the Panthers played a great 2nd half of football and was able to outlast the Arizona Cardinals and win their 6th game of the season to bring them to 6-2 for the season and sitting in first in their division! Impressive win, and hopefully after their bye week they can come back strong and beat Oakland and keep up the great play!

UFC fight Saturday night was a huge let down!!! Once my restaurant opens, I will be having these once a month and hope for all to attend, but gracious I hope nothing like this fight between Corte and Silva ever happens again, because I will be extremely pissed and hope that customers won’t get upset and start a riot lol! Terrible fight and hope that Dana White gets Silva a stiffer competitor for his next fight and make him earn everything that night. Nothing away from Silva, he is a heck of a fighter and probably a great man, but just left me very disappointed after Saturday night, because I wanted to see him crush Corte and let his name be chanted throughout the stadium! Bring on Liddell or one of my favorites…St. Pierre!

World Series is almost to a conclusion and I really hoped it went all 7 games, but heck we might be waiting til Thanksgiving to finish game 5!!!! Phillies have impressed us all with their bats and pitching while the Rays have impressed us all year with all their efforts and everything that they have accomplished and done right! Maybe a little on the tired side, or maybe the Phillies are just that much better, but I watched both teams play in person this year and couldn’t be any happier for whoever wins it all. Both teams are extremely talented, and will be top contenders again next year!

Joe Pa for President!!!! Penn State is off to one of their best starts in years!!! I have rooted for Penn State for years and am so glad that they are where they are this year! Impressive wins, even if it wasn’t a blow out last Saturday, but we will take it. Being that my brother is a Texas fan, I would love to see these two teams in the National Championship! So best of luck…Go Nittany Lions

Carolina Fan Fest

Another year has arrived and it’s time for some Carolina Panther Football!!! Today was the annual Fan Appreciation Day and there were hundreds in attendance today, which seemed to be tons more than showed up for last year…Could this year be the year that we all have been waiting for? Well with some new key additions and some instant impact rookies this year, things could be looking up for the questionable Panthers. Again, back to todays festivities…they had it all for fans young and old. Tons of games outside for the young ones, Panther Cheerleaders signing autographs and getting pictures made, radio station giving freebies away along with shirts, hats, and game tickets. Oh, and that was before the gates opened. As soon as you get insideyou are free to roam the stadium and view the team store with all the new clothing line and gear this year, purchase game tickets, or settle into your seat and watch as it all comes together. It was anotehr warm day today, but that did not stop tons of eager fans sitting front and center to catch a glimpse of their hometown team. Fans were then given the chance to go onto the field and attempt field goals and throwpasses, and feel almost like the players(okay huge exaggeration)! After that, the Top Cats performed their new routines and then the highlight reel of last years season filled the new scoreboard for our viewing pleasures. Practice began and there was tons of cheers for fan favorite Jake Delhomme(who has a lot to prove this year), and Mushin Muhammad.

Unfortunately Steve Smith and Ken Lucas were not there on the field due to altercations from the day before, but Muhammad and newly acquired D.J. Hackett picked up hopefully were the regular season will start off! DeAngelo Williams and Nick Goings both had impressive showings with their running today and looked unstopable at some points. Matt Moore even came in with his group and did impressively well, which he too is loved by the fans. After 2.5 hrs of practice the players came around and signed autographs for the fans which is a real treat for all ages. Again, another year has came back upon us, and the Panthers have the full support of all their fans. We are ready for a turn around…Hopefully it happens this year. The Panthers need to get on the Prowl!!! First preseason game is scheduled Aug.8 against the Colts
