Nope it’s not Eminem this time…it is I! I have recently went on some breaks from the blogging atmosphere and thought I could make it perminent, but what the heck was I thinking! I love expressing myself and sharing and trading information with others. Myspace and facebook work well too, but this is more up my alley, or atleast I think it is.
Anyways, as I start once again the things that have crossed my paths in the past month in a nutshell…We know some people prefer “quickies” so read this one just to take a few minutes out of your hectic Tuesday!!!
Congrats to my GOD awful fantasy football teams this year…I was seeded number 1 in 3 of my 4 leagues and just so happen to choke in the clutch and now am playing in the semi-consolation bracket…
Fantasy Basketball is working wonders for me thanks to the drafting of big men like Bosh, Granger, and Bynum…and my fantastic guards Joe Johnson, Kobe, and Derrick Rose. My first place is looking good from up here at the top…I play above the RIM!!
In the MLB, my favorite, the Yankees must have won the lottery becasue they are high rolling with the acquistions of pitchers CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett. Now they are appearing to be a force to be reckoned with…well as long as everyone stays healthy! Because these pin stripes got some new bills to be paying, so I hope the best for them, but my BoSox are still n top of their gaem and the Rays are no joke either! Crawford will be healthy this whole season, so the AL better watch out!
In the NFL, the Giants are struggling and the Panthers are succeeding! You always got to pull for your hometown team, so I am definitely ready for next Sunday when the Panthers travel to NY to put a whopping on those “Little” Giants! Maybe they should recruit “Icebox” for just one game…:)
Recent movies have been released and I haven’t gotten to view tons of them, but I am trying to catch up…
Transporter 3 is another great one featuring Jason Statham who is amazing in the while trilogy and love every movie he is in. A must see…B+ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pbh3CDBNIQA
The Quantum of Solace…not so hot on my list! I mean I’m not a huge bond fan, but I did enjoy Casino Royale, but I wasn’t really sold on the new one. David Craig is great, he needs to stay around for a while, but again I think they just tried to put too much action into this movie(yes, I said too much action..I still don’t know how that is possible), but it did finish up pretty well and was well rounded. Don’t take my opinion, again I’m not a huge Bond fan, so watch it and enjoy. B
Eagle Eye…yes, it was out a long time ago, but I know have just gotten around to watching it. Great movie from beginning til right at the end. Had me ready for the next scene everytime, but its one of those movies that you just hate how it ended. Couldn’t think of a better ending I guess?!? A-
Zack and Miri Make a Porno…what a great one! Actually my mother went and saw it and told me I had to go see it. HAHAHA She hated it, but knew I’d love it and yes I did! Great comedy which turns into a kind of romance at the end but who cares if that slowed up the fast laughing pace…I enjoyed it. My brother went with his girlfriend to actually watch this too and she cried at the end..VERY STRANGE if I may say! B-
For cd’s that have struck my interest over the past month…
T-Pain’s Thr33 Ringz is a good one to pick up and Ludacirs’ Theater of the Mind is up there as well. Britney Spears Circus is getting tons of interest and support, but as much as I love her Womanizer video(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZSLIq6YiRY), I can do without the rest of the cd tracks. But again congrats to her and the comeback! Blake Sheltons Startin Fires one of my favorites of the year, and also features one of my new favorite country songs 100 miles!
The biggest thing that has happened to me over the past while is the demolition of my new restaurant opening up here in Salisbury,NC. East Coast Wings and Grill located at 211 Faith Rd. phone umber 704-633-2464. I will be having my grand opening extravaganza in 6-8 weeks as of yesterday! I’m so excited and so ready for this and am looking froward to seeing how the business will go for me. So if you are around at the beginning of the year, check me out and stop by. I will be keeping everyone updated on the status and you will be one of the first to know what is going on. www.eastcoastwings.com
Again, for all who read, I am back so thanks for reading and keep those comments coming. I will be having some new things coming for housing market and questionnaire for people to answer questions that I do have for relationships, work, and in life in general. Thanks again

We had a live draft, but no one was there! This is going to be fun lol At least we all have cool team names in remembrance of the Mighty Ducks Trilogy!
Had a road trip to Baltimore to watch the Tampa Bay Rays clinch!!! 5th ballpark this year, and Camden Yards is number 1 on my list so far of stadiums and surrounding areas to see. Now only 27 more to go…I’ll start back up in March:)
-Don’t expect to see Chad Ocho Cinco wearing his new name on a jersey anytime soon. CNBC’s Darren Rovell reports on his blog that the former Mr. Johnson would be forced to buy out the stock of the 100,000 remaining C.Johnson jerseys before making the switch to “Ocho Cinco”. If Reebok asked Ocho Cinco to pay for the cost of making the unsold jerseys, the total could reach upwards of $4 million (or $50 million pesos).
Friday night I attended the Brooks and Dunn and ZZ Top concert in Charlotte, NC at Verizon Wireless Amphitetre. I know it was several days ago, but been busy busy busy!!! Rodney Atkins kicked things off and he was very impressive..Hits like Cleaning My Gun and These are my People were sung throuhgout the fans and was very enjoyable. You could definetly tell the BnD fans from the ZZ ones, but it was all good. BnD preformed hit after hit and even the rains from the storm couldn’t wash them away. Everyone wanted more! I heard they always put on a great show, so I was glad to see for myself that they did an amazing job form beginning to end. I also had no idea they had that many hits and that I knew so many, but I found myself singing along with the best of them! ZZ Top rounded up the evening with a great perfomance and we all seemed to enjoy it. Not a huge fan, but found myself enjoying this one and likeing a vast majority of their tunes. All in all if you didn’t attend due to the storm and or likes of music…you missed a great one. I will definetly be up for attending another BnD concert in years to come.
